Pleasant. Attended church in West Parish. Rev. McLaughlin preached from 1st John 1st 3rd. Had a S.S. Concert this afternoon. After meeting Col brought one back to Mooretown and intended to go to a concert in the eve but Wallace was sick so it was put off and he came in and spent an hour or two with me. I had strange thoughts and feelings afterward as if I had been doing wrong and still I feel I am at liberty to keep company with anyone I choose but he will not fill Frank’s place at present.
