October 7
Cloudy and cold. This afternoon I was surprised to see Collins and Vienna appear to me at the schoolhouse. After school we went over to Mr. Palmer’s to tea and then I went home with them. We called at Mrs. Kellogg’s but she was gone, then we called on Vienna’s sister a few minutes and then went to Westfield and stopped at the Monroes, and then out to West Parish. Arrived about half past nine in the evening.
