Pleasant. Had two new scholars. Now I have got five large girls and three boys all of them as large as I am and if some of them don’t get ahead of me in their studies I shall be glad. After school I went down to “Mother Palmer’s” where I had been invited with the young Mrs. P. Saw quite a number of the neighbors and like them all very well. This eve I puzzled over in partial payments for Julie Andrus.
