Pleasant. Quilted all day. Condry and Martha came up to Uncle Jacob’s but did not stay here long. John went to Southwick and got Paulina’s again. Mr. Gibbons helped get it out of the box and set it up. Larson went to the Corner first at night and I sent a note up that I was going away Saturday. She delivered it to him but he made no reply. I have almost cried myself blind and what to do I don’t know. It seems as if I must see him before going to school.
