July 13

Pleasant.  I felt rather sea sick this morning and couldn’t eat any breakfast but I recovered sufficiently to wash my muslin dress before going to school and in the afternoon Mary + Angie Mason and Julia Randall came up to school.  The Mason girls went right home after school but Julia went home with me and after tea we went down street and called on Mrs. Carpenter and then we went to swing.  Burt Bacon came over and so George and he took us to a boat ride and we had beautiful ride.  It was so light.  I went home with Julia and staid all night.
