Pleasant. Am back in the schoolroom again but have felt dull enough for all common occasions. The first I heard this morn was Lottie’s voice saying “Come get up you have slept long enough.” I felt almost vexed at her, but I concluded it best to take it pleasantly and not let my angry passions rise. After school Lot and I went to make hanging baskets and had lots of fun by the brook. In the eve Dewitt came up and another chap with him but he didn’t give up any introduction. Come to find out it was Preston T.
